The ancient and colorful Kathmandu Valley is one of the most exotic places on Earth: a fascinating land renowned for its full range of historic and artistic marvels.

As our guests quickly discover it is also a profoundly sacred place.
During our week together we will explore six UNESCO World Heritage Sites including:

•
   The famous Buddhist stupas of Boudhanath and Swayambhunath
•
   The medieval Durbar Margs ('Palace Squares') of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur
•
   The Hindu temple and cremation site of Pashupatinath

We will also visit ancient caves in the nearby town of Sankhu where mahasiddhas (highly realized beings), attained extraordinary meditation powers over 1000 years ago.
